Please expect to arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork. Upon entering our office our staff will greet you and provide you with the proper paperwork. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.
Next you will have a consultation with one of the chiropractic physicians to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed for the doctors to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic care will meet your goals.
After your consultation, if the doctor feels that we may be able to help you, an examination including neurologic and orthopedic testing will be performed. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to get a full evaluation of a patient. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. If you have had recent x-rays or diagnostic tests please bring copies to your appointment. All Ault Chiropractic locations have digital x-rays available for your convenience and to decrease radiation exposure. Any x-rays we perform in office will be sent to our radiologist.
Report of Findings
Once all radiology and diagnostic reports have been received at our office, Dr. Ault will review all findings with you.
If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the doctor will tell you. Dr. Ault will recommend the appropriate treatment plan to get your problem corrected and meet your goals.
This may include spinal adjustments, physiotherapies, therapeutic exercises, and/or soft tissue therapies. There are a wide variety of spinal adjustment techniques and therapies utilized at Ault Chiropractic of Hudson and Brimfield. Each treatment plan is tailored to meet the needs of you and your condition. All doctors adjust Hands On Palmer Package (Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson) and/or low force techniques (Activator) depending on the patient's needs.
Prior to leaving, patients will be instructed on a wellness program to be conducted at home. If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches. If you desire an overall wellness lifestyle, our wellness team will work with you to create good habits and routines that support your success. Every body is unique and different and therefore everyone requires a unique and customized wellness plan. The foundation of our overall wellness lifestyle is maintaining healthy posture and good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, keeping your weight under control and stress relief.
